2008 January > A New Year, A New Start

2008 brought a few changes for DeafBlind Ontario Services (formerly known as Independent Living Residences for the Deafblind in Ontario) one of which was, of course, a new name! With the help of BlueSky Communications Inc. they have a new logo to accompany the new name and in the holiday spirit they launched a gift drive. The celebration had many residents, staff and volunteers out to help ring in the new year and a fresh start for DeafBlind Ontario Services. After 18 years of enabling adults who are deafblind to live more independently, the organization formerly known as Independent Living Residences for the Deafblind in Ontario, has launched a new name, new logo, and new holiday gift drive to help increase public awareness around this complex disability.
