2008 July > Run For Ramps & Rails

Ramps & Rails was held in Holland Landing this past month as a fundraising event hosted by the Holland Landing Chiropractic & Wellness Centre. The goal of this event was to raise money for the future construction of a youth skateboarding park and to promote community awareness of the need for the youth of Holland Landing to have a recreational facility. Support came from the community and small businesses who provided prizes and over 70 items for the silent auction. Ramps & Rails participants could pay a small registration fee and participate in the event by running, walking, rollerblading and skateboarding.
