2008 July > Poker Run for MADD

In 1992 York Simcoe Riders member, Loretta Sellars, received news that her cousin, Steven Bobel, was killed by a drunk driver. This is partly what motivated the York Simcoe Riders to hold their annual poker run, with all proceeds going towards MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers). For the past 17 years motorcyclists from all over Ontario have travelled to participate in the poker run and raise money and awareness for the Newmarket chapter of MADD.
