2008 July > Moms On The Run 2nd Annual BBQ Moms On The Run held their 2nd annual BBQ in Jim Bond Park this past month to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society on behalf of their Relay For Life Team. This is the 6th year for the Moms On The Run Relay Team and last year they raised over $10,000 through individual pledges and just over $1000 from the BBQ proceeds. This year the Relay for Life will be held at Pickering College and will last for 12 hours. Congratulations to Moms On The Run for all their hard work and all the best in the upcoming relay! My relay for life team, Moms On The Run is having our 2nd annual BBQ in Jim Bond Park in the summerhill subdivision. We will be selling hamburgers, hotdogs, drinks and will have a bake sale, tatoos for the kids and card sales. All proceeds will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society on behalf of our team.
