2008 July > Raising Money for Newmarket's Youth

The Newmarket Optimist Club held their 15th Annual Charity Golf tournament June 4th in support of our town's youth. The tournament was held at Shawneeki Golf Club, with a dinner following at the Optimist Club. Half of the event's proceeds were donated to Southlake Regional Health Centre's Pediatric Ward, and the other half went to the Youth Centre, helping the air cadets, sea cadets and navy league. A fabulous $100 000 has been raised in the past. Well done to everyone involved in this generous event!
