2008 July > Horseman Wraps Up Songwriter's Competition

The Horseman Tavern hosted "Original is Best" throughout the last couple months, a contest for musician to showcase their best original tunes. The Horseman stage saw some major talent over the course of the contest and the expert panel of judges selected the winner Steve Ford of The Haze, who received the grand prize - a recording session at Abby Max Studios! Second place went to Mark Edwards and third place to Ryan Baker, who both received prizes sponsored by Molson. Congratulations to all, and thanks to the Horseman Tavern for hosting this fun-filled contest.
