2008 July > MLPS Has a Healthy Lunch

The Regional Municipality of York Community and Health Services Department runs an annual Healthy Lunch Challenge where students learn about healthy eating and must bring lunches that include four food groups every day for a week. This year, of the 85 classes registered, Mrs. Dempsey's grade 3/4 class at Maple Leaf Public School won the challenge. The class enjoyed a healthy lunch courtesy of the Health Services Department, and hopefully their new healthy habits will last!
