State Farm Head Office opens in Aurora

The Canadian Head office for State Farm has officially opened their doors in Aurora. It was a grand event at State Farm Way as hundreds of employees, agents, retirees and even longtime policyholders turned out to enjoy the day and tour the facilities. It was a chilly morning filled with enthusiastic cheerleaders, wonderful speeches and a BBQ luncheon. Unfortunately I had to leave before the staff had their own State Farm Talent show. This celebration definitely showed two things, selling insurance CAN be exciting and fun. And two, State farm certainly is a company with employees who know how to party! This office houses 1,054 employees and is the lovely building you see located just after Wellington Road while traveling on the 404 highway.
