1st ANNUAL MULTIMEDIA FILM FESTIVAL

The 1st annual multimedia festival of York Region kicked off this month. There were over 50 submissions from the area, including a group of grade 3 students from the Waabgon Gamig First Nations School who captured life on the reserve. Other submissions came from: The AIDS commitee, social services, and women's shelters. The Markham Civic Centre is the host of the festival. Garfield Minott, world acclaimed palaeon-artist was onsite to unveil the official artwork for the festival. For more information and show schedule visit
