Back to School Bash
The 2nd Annual Back to School Bash in Holland Landing was a raving success. Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene and other local businesses put on a family event to remember. Families enjoyed the many attractions at the community centre throughout the day. The line for the popular bouncy castle was long, but everyone waited patiently for their turn. A firetruck and army jeep were present for children to explore and ask questions about. Inside the community centre parents herded children to the makeshift salon area to receive $2 haircuts from International Hair Academy. Kids enjoyed face painting, magic shows and hot dogs as they filled their backpacks full of school supplies. All the funds raised were donated to Pulmonary Hypertension Research and care.
