BWNA Luncheon

The BWNA group met for lunch, networking and support at Shoeless Joe's on Woodbine in Newmarket. The keynote speaker was Kirsten Eastwood, Executive Director of the Women's Centre of York Region. Kirsten gave an inspirational presentation on how the Women's Centre works with the community to support women in need of assistance. The Women's Centre offers programs such as counselling, transitional support for women leaving an abusive situation, a life skills program, and the Enterprising Women Program, to name a few.
